CHECK IN REQUIREMENTS
Guests will be required to provide a copy of their valid ID or passport, as well as a credit or debit card.
A pre-authorisation of R1000.00 will be deducted from the guest’s card as a security deposit to cover any extra expenses or breakages.
Guests also have the option of a cash deposit of R1000.00. The deposit will be released on check out, once the room has been checked and all extras settled.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Please note that we require written notification 60 days prior to the booked arrival date for cancellation or amendments. Bookings cancelled or amended within 60 days of arrival will carry a 100% cancellation fee. Please note all bookings with an arrival date in December incur a 100% cancellation fee irrespective of when the booking was made.
Please allow for a 3 working day window period for this process to be completed.

WEATHER
- Temperatures remain warm all year, with the driest and coolest periods being from June to August.
- Best time for the beach, if you like to surf, is winter as we have the best winter swells.
- Sea temperatures are warm in July and the weather is dry and warm in the daytime.
- Best beach weather is from January - March.

- Take the N2 South
- Exit at 137 Kingsburgh / Seadoone offramp.

- Before you arrive at the end of Hillside Road, turn left into Steepway,

- Take the N2 North.
- Exit at 137 Kingsburgh / Seadoone.
- Turn inland, (left) away from the sea.
- First left, before BP garage, into Umfulani.
- Umfulani leads you into World's View.
- Sharp right into Hillside Road.
- Left into Steepway Road.

HEALTH & COVID PROTOCOLS
Our action plan was to obtain the ex-Director of Health Services from the Ethekwini Municipality to provide all our patrons and staff with the best hygiene protocols required to maintain a safe and clean environment for all working and staying at The View Boutique Hotel and Spa
Our guidelines have been formulated by the best in the field in disease control prevention.
These restrictions and protocols are there for your safety and are as follows.
- Temperature screening of all patrons entering our premises and includes all staff members.
- All touch areas will be disinfected regularly to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- All linen through out our establishment will be washed at 75 degrees Celsius and dried at 80 degrees Celsius to ensure all patrons safety.
- We ask all patrons to observe social distancing of 2 meters.
- Guest rooms – Our cleaning protocol has been elevated for all rooms to ensure that deep cleansing and sanitizing practices are ensured. There will be no turn down service in all rooms as to eliminate the number of people with access to the rooms.
- Staff – The safety and health of all our staff is paramount in maintaining the high standard of wellness. Health checks are done daily on all staff who enter the premises and protective equipment is mandatory in order to provide a safe and clean environment for all our patrons.
